    Hi

I have a grape tree in my backyard. Unfortunately yesterday I decided to cut all the branches because its wood was rot and attracts the ants.
I left about 1.5 ft above the soil not cutted, and currently it's weeping (I don't know why).

Now I feel very sad after doing that.

    My question :
Is it possible to make it grow again and prduce leaves ?
What should I do to help it to survive ?

    Thank you

If your plant is a typical grape vine (Vitis labrusca), then it should sprout vigorously and start growing again. The weeping is not a problem. The only "grape trees" that I'm aware of are tropical plants that wouldn't survive in Montreal.
