The wire is 3/8 steel plastic covered clothline wire at 1000 lbs breaking point tested. I did not have a strong enough crimping tool for the fastenings, so I used my bolt cutters to get sufficient compression. The tensioners are a common item. This support should be more than sufficient for three grape vines. Durgan.
