Wich different types of acers can you graft on platanoides? Since it is difficulty to get hold of other rootstock where i live. Can you graft pseudoplatanus on platanoides?

I recently read an interesting article (from 2001) by Cor van Gelderen called "Hidden Frontiers in Acers". He states:
He goes on to state that Acer cappadocicum and A.longpipes will graft onto platanoides but the success rate was better on cappadocicum. Also A.pictum will take but with a low success rate.
