grafting the grapes

    i have 12 years old grapes plant , but its not good quality grapes , I want to graft another good types of grapes on same plant , if any body can help me on this matter, like, how we can do the grafting , where I can get good grapes plant to graft , and which grape quality is good to graft, whats the best time to graft, I am living in toronto area , Is there any profeastional available?

    Spring is a good time; just before bud break leaves a minimum amount of time for the scions or buds to dry out (a bad thing) and for disease (also bad) to get a foothold before the callus forms. Get some local advice, taking into account the local climate and your specific micro-climate - considering elevation, distance from large bodies of water, slope. A local nursery would be a good starting point and also a source of scions.
