What is the difference between the golden and green varieties of weeping willow?
The names you are using answer your own question. The common golden weeping willow ('Chrysocoma') produces yellow shoots, the green ones (more than one kind is grown) do not. This makes it more conspicuous and exciting. All are large-growing trees subject to blight problems in some climates, apt to split apart when encountering maturity or misfortune.
