Heres a challenge. I bought a Golden Reinette apple tree yesterday at the local Garden Works. When I got home and removed two of the three tags, I noticed on the back of one of the tags the notation from Cannor Nurseries Golden Reinette Apple (Triumph de Boskoop) Medium flatten, golden yellow with a slight red flesh and russet patch, fresh, crisp, juicy and richly flavored.
So what is it? Is it the old European variety that has been around since the 1600s? Or is it a more recent but somewhat obscure Boskoop cultivar, presumably connected in some way to the well-known Belle de Boskoop? Either way Im happy with the apple, but Im really interested to know what I have.
    Appreciate any insights.

Give Cannors a call, they are in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
