Hi all! Located in Kelowna, and we planted this dwarf nectarine in the spring of 2021.
The tag we got with the plant doesn't indicate growth rate, so not sure whether it is just slow, or if something is wrong. We only got a couple of very small nectarines in the summer of 2022, and this year the fruit was really slow and strange - we got maybe a dozen but they all looked like pics attached. Any thoughts? They tasted OK, but not very appetizing!

I don't know how it's been in Kelowna, but here in the Vancouver area stink bugs have been very abundant. A Washington State University site states (for peaches): "If fruit is almost mature when injured, the flesh does not turn corky but begins to decay. Damage on peaches is more noticeable than on apples or pears." If the bugs bite the fruit at an earlier stage, the damage often appears as sunken areas where bitten. I had lots of this type of damage on my Asian pears.
