They seem very similar. If there's any difference, I can't see it from photos.

Cascade Gold has a EU trademark, I believe.

I believe Yellow Cascade has much larger leaves. I don't have that one so I'm going off of what Matt and Tim Nichols say about it. They also state that Yellow Cascade is also more of a "butter yellow" in spring.

I do have Golden Falls and I love it! The spring color is intense. Similar to Katsura, but with more sharply pointed leaves/narrower lobes. Green in summer and yellow in fall. (Below, pic #1 is fall color. The others are spring color.)

CASCADE FALLS ('Sonkoot1') was introduced as part of the Cascade Series by Van Son & Koot in 2016. 'Golden Falls' is a Buchholtz introduction, or so he claimed. I don't have a date for when it was introduced. So apparently not the same cultivar.

Dan, I don't think Alex was asking about Yellow Cascade. There is also a CASCADE CITRINE ('Sonkoot7') that may being sold in the US as Yellow Cascade, I wonder. -E

Oops, yep I see that now. I didn't realize there was another version out there so my mind instantly jumped to these two. My mistake.

I’ve seen Citrine cascade here in the UK, they were sold as 90cm standard top grafts.. along with Ruby Cascade and Emerald Cascade.

Some spring and summer photos would be useful, fall colours can be misleading

Hey Rich, do you know if the labels in the UK have the English word-ordering you used? I.e. Ruby Cascade on the plant label, not Cascade Ruby. If so I'll have to introduce those names into the database. TIA.
