    Hello all.

I just got my hot little hands on a really pretty gold tooth aloe. I'm not really sure how to care for it. From what I understand they are summer dormant. But is that only if they're outside? Or inside too. I'm keeping mine indoors.

Meanwhile, does that mean it will need to be watered more in the winter? Or, since I'm keeping it indoors, should it be watered every two weeks or so year round? Please help.

Oh, by the way, it's in a 3" pot. It's in a southeastern window and I live near Detroit, MI.

    Thanks.
    Amanda

Some succulents are dormant in the summer due to the heat. Inside that wouldn't be an issue. Lots of light, very well drained soil, and water only when the soil is totally dry. Let it dry, then drench it totally, then let it dry again. In the hight of summer that could be every few days, but in the winter cut back on water to about once a month.
