Goats: The new first line of defence against weeds?

    Problem with goats is that they don't distinguish between weeds and plants you want to keep. Or they do, and eat the latter first.

    Apparently part of the responsibilities of the goat herders and dogs is to keep the flock focused on weeds.

    But that'll mean pretty intensive supervision, probably one goatherd per goat to be sure . . . so the costs rise steeply!
