I see a very little amount of a jelly ooze coming out of my Redhaven Peach branch in ONE SPOT/BRANCH only. I made a cut in september and it showed up a couple weeks ago. What is it...is it some disease on the horizon?

There is pectin in peaches and in peach bark. I've seen pectin ooze from old injuries. If it is not sticky but really is more like a gel, it's probably pectin. I've seen it on citrus, on apples, quince and pears, and on pindo palms.
