I've been asked to help with garden / landscape ideas for a property in Oosoyos - BC's own desert. I'm asking the UBC Hort Forum for help with plant ideas. I only found two nursery/garden centers in Oosoyos and they don't have websites. I did a quick search of the Forum and didn't find threads related to BC's desert. Can someone direct me to more information? thank you!!
Take a quick drive up to Summerland and Visit Grasslands Nursery and Greenhouses. They're just to the south before the town and they have great display gardens. Find them on Facebook and also on their website. Toni Boot is the owner. Grasslands is award winning and specializes in xeroscape and permascape plant material and designs that are best suited for your region and climate. There is a plant list on their website that you'll find very helpful.
