My plant is doing great on my south facing balcony especially since I started adding half a teaspoon of white vinegar per litre of water about once a week.It is blossoming profusely!Should I fertilize it at this time ,if not when and what type should I use. There used to be a jar of special fertilizer for gardenias but it does not seem to be available anymore.Does hibiscus also require an acid soil? That one particular plant is affected by some type of pest that chews my leaves yet I cannot see any insects and the plant is blossoming just great otherwise. What winter care do my two plants require in winter indoors, they are in a very sunny bedroom which can get very hot even if I keep a fan blowing.Should the air be kept humid ?

Both of those plants like rich moist soil and even moisture. They like bright light and warm temps. They will like humid air. The hibiscus should have dilute fertilizer and one that is not high in phosphorus.

Hibiscus can be tricky to grow indoors. Here is a good site for care info.
