I took this photo today, of a plant that was given to us last fall. It has grown quite vigorously and has started flowering. It looks nice but I'm wondering if it is invasive! Thanks for your help in identifying this plant!

This reminds me of a beautiful plant I struggled to keep in check many years ago . . . Persicaria affinis 'Dimity'.

Thanks! This gave me a clue to look at the persicarias, and think that mine might be Persicaria amplexicaulis 'Firetail.' It seems that it is vigorous but self-limiting. I will let it stay and will keep an eye on it! I'd still appreciate any other comments.
