    Greetings,

I grew these flowers in my garden this year. I bought them without a name label. At first I thought the foliage looked like a type of marigold. There were 3 bright neon colours - red, orange, yellow.

I need to know the name of this plant so I can get more next year. They attracted a large number of insects. I am "into" insect macro photography! ;>

    Thanks for your help,
    Andrea

They're French marigolds. If you didn't save any seed from those (which you can do), look for the cultivars marked "Single" - most marigolds are much fuller than those (the typical pompom types). Burpee sells this type (at least the yellow ones) as 'Nema-Gone'. 'Cottage Red' and 'Scarlet Starlet' are similar (although not the same) as your reds.
