Can anyone please help me identify this little blue flower? It is a compact perennial, similar in growth habit to a creeping phlox. Thank-you to whoever correctly identified my friend's tree as Cochlospermum vitifolium "florapleno".
Your blue flower looks like a Veronica. I grow one like that called Veronica peduncularis 'Georgia Blue' that has a habit similiar to the one you describe but there are quite a lot of Veronicas. Try a Google image search for Veronica 'Georgia Blue' and see what you think.
