Please view attached pictures. Two of them show my two willows that are growing close to the house. the other pic shows some sort of red fungus/parasite that i noticed growing on some of their leaves. it's hard to tell if it's spreading 'cause i just noticed it, but it is on both trees that are sort of close to one another. you can't scrape it off. if i try it takes a part of the leaf with it. if you need any other info let me know.

also if anyone has any idea what kind of willow it is i'd be excited to know. thanks.

Gall mites (Eriopyes). Not a serious problem, it won't hurt the tree.

The willow looks like Salix viminalis.

ahh that does look like it. thank you for the quick response! glad to hear it's not as serious as it could be .. while i have you here, i've attached another willow of a different kind i got earlier this year .. is this what some would consider the weeping willow?

Too young to tell for sure, but could well be one of the several Weeping Willow clones sold commercially.
