We have started a Native Plant Garden in Lions Bay on the west coast of BC, where we have what should be a fine display of snowberry plants. Unfortunately the leaves are covered with a grayish mold or fungus or??? Any suggestions for a cure or treatment?

Snowberries are occassionally afflicted with anthracnose and powdery mildew.
I'm in Port Coquitlam and as you are north west of here on the ocean, you also had a very wet but warmish spring.

I'm going to presume you have powdery mildew

Try putting a tablespoon of baking soda in a litre of water and do a test spray.
Other than that, all you could do is wipe the leaves off in the high profile areas, with a damp cloth.

Try to maintain better air circulation if that's part of the problem.
