Identification: Fungus/Mushroom in veg Garden

    Anyone know what this is? It's a new to me veg garden and shows up most places I water.

    It's some kind of puffball mushroom.

    could be a top shot of a densely packed cluster of Coprinopsis atramentaria. Can you break one mushroom off, lay it on its side, then take a picture of it?
