    Hi,

I have a wonderful aloe plant that has been fruiting new leaves left and right. Recently I have found white/yellow fuzzy balls that is spreading from the drain of my clay pot to my clay tray. The plant seems healthy. What can I do to get rid of this? Is it harmful? What is it? What can I do prevent this in the future?

I have the same infestations/growth in the soil of a potted Peace Lily and am also looking for a solution.

Frequently reported and asked about. Perhaps related to Leucocoprinus birnbaumii (MushroomExpert.Com). They appear in my containers at times when the conditions are right and then quickly disappear again. I suspect there's not much that can be done once the soil is infected. They don't seem to have an ill effect on my plants and their appearance is brief so I live with it.
