Identification: Fungus(?) id...

    I found this fungus growing on a tree stump (it has a thick sour cream consistency).

    The entire inside was gooey like sour cream? Sounds like its a slime mold.

    Do you have any images that show the details closer up? Do u know also, what kind of wood the stump is? It looks like there are tiny 'babies' all over in the cracks...?
