Does anyone know the name of this Fungi I found on our property in Bellville Texas? First time my husband and I have seen it since we moved here 3 years ago. We love out in ranch country. Mostly woods - cedar and oaks, as well as other smaller plants throughout the forest. Thanks.
I believe you have an immature Ganoderma sp. (lucidum?). Some people call these immature specimens of this species candlesticks.
