I've been taking photos of the fungi I encounter in the temperate rainforests here outside Port Angeles, WA. I've tallied 109 species in the past ten days--I can't think of anything I enjoy more than mushroom-hunting!

I wanted to share the beauty of the local mushrooms here. PLEASE let me know if you disagree with any identifications--I'm always looking for feedback.

I am very glad to post fungi photos here! I hope people will correct me if I mis-identify any of them. I absolutely realize that one should include as much diagnostic characteristics as possible, but I just want to see if anyone can easily see how wrong I might be, especially to genus. And one can't go too wrong when sharing the beauty of fungi...
