Identification: Fungal Identification.

    Hi. I'm afraid that, for me at least, I'm going to need more than a few strands of hyphae to be able to narrow down the list of potential identifications. Could you tell us what it's growing on, in, or even how it came to your attention in the first place? Was it a mould that you isolated from a foodstuff of some kind...or something extracted from a soil sample, tree root, etc ?

    As with plants when they are in flower, fungi are often quite easy to identify by looking at their fruit structure as well.

    Thank u Gary for ur reply!
    I isolated this fungus from a mine soil sample. and im still tryin to identify it.
    From my prev experience of microorganism isolation, this looks like penicilium or cladosporium.
    If u r interested, i could mail u some more of the pics i have taken of them.
    do post ur mail id.
