I have a question about fruit tree supports.

Where do you buy them? I can only find those pressure treated landscape ties. I am reluctant to use chemical treated would near my trees. These would be for espalier trained apple trees.

    Thanks a lot.

I have used alder and maple supports, from small trees that were wild, and doomed to the plough of developers..... venture over to the north shore.... there is plenty of land under development (home construction...) that any developer would allow you to take cuttings for this purpose.... be sure to ask first....

I am using steel rods ( I think they are called T's) from Home Hardware. They are 8 feet long. Driven in the ground with a sledge hammer they stay forever. Between them I have strung trolling wire leftover from fishing days. It is extremely long lasting. I have espaliered trees in this way before and it works well.
