Wildflowers: From Scotland

    A friend sent me a pic of this tiny blue flower. It was taken in Scotland in a natural heather moor in September. I have asked for futher pics, however, she is unable to find the plant again.
    I cannot tell if it is a shrub or just a wildflower. Can anyone help please?
