Hi, we purchased a home in the Pacific Northwest last summer and have some sort of plant growing along the house that I have no clue what it is. Since we have a dog who chews anything in his domain, I would really love some help identifying it and determining if it is hazardous to his health.

Edited to add....it appears to be some kind of ground cover, has spread rapidly since last summer.

    Thanks in advance.

Looks like Claytonia perfoliata, miner's lettuce, which is native in WA. If my ID is correct, I would consider it a friend. Since we are talking edible plant, don't go on just my opinion.
