Friend or foe?

    First of all thank you for your time and consideration.

    This appeared on the stump of an elm we had cut down about 2 years ago. (A very sad day!) It is now about 6 feet high and as much in diameter. I wonder if this is something we should cut down or is it something desirable.

    Looks like White Mulberry (Morus alba). Not my first choice for a landscape tree as the fruit are messy & it seeds about quite well. If you like Mulberries though (they are quite tasty), you may choose to keep it?
