    Hi,

I'm new to plant identification, and tried my best to learn all the ovate, simple, whorled, blah blah (I know it's important), but I couldn't manage to identify the plant whose delicate portraits are attached.

The closest I got to identification was the piperaceae fam but I could be (and probably am) way off.

If YOU can identify this plant, that would be a-mazing! It's an unbelievable opportunity to sleuth it out! At no cost to you!

(Thanks for the help - not knowing is givin' me the crazy-shakes.)

    Hey saltcedar, thanks!

That link and a few others confirm that it's peperomia fraseri. Far from its home.
