These little guys are typically about half a foot tall... each flower maybe 4mm in diameter. Fragrance is quite strong, sweet and very nice - something reminiscent of Anise. Not much in the way of leaves - most of these are just a stick shooting up from the earth. Only one of several had obvious 'blades of grass' leaves ( shown in photo) Anyone here recognize them? They are more beautiful in person than my pics would lead you to believe!
Looks like Spiranthes cernua. http://www.botany.wisc.edu/orchids/cernua.html https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=S...Q&biw=1184&bih=594&sei=FXpGUMXMBoWW0QWOuIHYCA
