There are several vines with these berries on them in my yard. They're not clumped up like blackberry bushes I've seen. There's only one or two long vines (with small thorns) in each instance, and they've popped up in 3 or 4 places. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Some of the native blackberries or dewberries grow as vines. There are many species of Rubus.

Agree w/ Eric. If these are the ones i'm thinking of they are hard to find, therefor you usually don't get many at a time. Much more tasty than the larger varieties. Back in the 50's, as a kid some people would pay me $5.00 per gallon to pick these for them.
