    My daughter threw her pumpkin seeds into the compost last year. After speading the stuff all over the beds, we seem to have a few pumpkin plants around the front yard. The seeds must be fairly hardy, as the compost was pretty much broken down. Fortunately, they seem to blend in well withthe tropical look we have going.
