Hi all, found this gorgeous specimen in a pot from the previous owners. Can anyone help with identifying this so I can read up on it and change it's soil and fertilize it etc?

    Hmm ....gorgeous specimen......?
It is a conifer ...with no needles.
    But it looks completely dead?
Don't think any amount of TLC will bring it back to life.
Maybe the family Christmas tree from 25th Dec..just left outside.

Yes, I think it was some sort of spruce tree.

In Vancouver, likely a Sitka Spruce - should be easy enough to find a replacement plant for this sadly deceased specimen.
