    Well, I'd had the forums installed in July 2001, but I don't think we started promoting them to the public until Feb. 2002.

    Attached are screen captures of the forum statistics - new threads by month.

    There seems to be a peak in the spring: easily explained 'cause thats when we are all spreading the bull**** around the gardens. There's also a peak in September/October, but I'm at a loss to explain that one.

    The September peaks in earlier years are due to UBC students using the forums in hidden areas for their coursework. Over time, (and if trends continue), I imagine those peaks will smooth out a bit.
