Am I imagining it that clicking some photos results in that funny window that's not really a new tab and that can close just by clicking off the photo, and some open a new tab? Was it ones that were entered when whichever was the current setup still behave that way? I liked that system and last week I thought the new ones behaved that way, but one I just added opened a new tab.
I'm not sure if this answers your question or not, since I'm new here but I believe that when you click on the picture once, it puts it in the weird raised window. However, if you click on the picture while it's loading, it will bring it up in a whole new tab.
