Two years ago I bought a flully ruffles or boston type ferm. At the end of each frond, a little pendulum, fan shaped, would develop. It was a very graceful fern. Grew 2+ feet high and same width.

I can't find it again. I believe it was a hybridized annual fern.

Can you help me to determine what it's named so I can locate another one, please?

There are many crested ferns. I am nor sure what is available to you in USA.

One I know is called Dryopteris dilatata Grandiceps. It has a large crest at the head of the frond.

Dryopteris filix-mas Grandiceps Wills. has smaller crests.

You could google "Fern nurseries" and scroll through a few catalogues.

You have the answer I'm looking for. It's Dryopteris dilatata Grandiceps.

    Thank you so much.
