We were in Penzance, SW England in early June. As best I can tell, this area is zone 9 and therefore contains many plant species which wouldn't overwinter here in Surrey, B.C. (zone 7). I'd be grateful to anyone who might glance at these pix and advise what they are. Unreduced copies of photos are available, if necessary. There are two species here; I've provided both a picture showing the growth habit and flower of one, and the entire vine in the second.

1. and 2. Liz is correct...Leptospermum . Gosh, that is a big tree, for Britain. Normally they are just tiny shrubs over here. That one must be very old. 3. Looks like Asarina procumbens. Common name Creeping snapdragon. http://images.google.com/images?q=A...n-gb:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7SUNA_en-GB&um=1&sa=2
There are in fact two different plants (vines) on the third photo: First is Asarina as Silver surfer wrote. Second id Cymbalaria muralis.
