I live in N.W. FL and have a small tree resembling a Mimossa in it's arching growth pattern. It has bright orange flower pods, someone mentioned it was a raintree or a water tree, does anyone know and where might I find identifying photos?

We grow Koelreuteria paniculata, the common name is Golden rain tree or Pride of India, but yours may be K.bipinnata.

Any chance it looks like the one in this photo, which I saw on my visit near San Diego and Los Angeles?

If that's Corymbia (eucalyptus) ficifolia there's zero chance it would grow in the Florida panhandle, way too cold.
