Flowering Tree -> help with Identification

    The photos attached are from Australia, around Brisbane. I'd like to know what that tree with the red flowers is called, and possibly where i can get one. I really love the look of this tree.

    G'day Kay C, good to see a fellow QLD'er on here!!
    I have seen that plant around Brisbane, but I haven't seen it in the nurseries for a while, I will keep an eye out.

    Probably garden center clerks got tired of being slapped when providing shoppers with the name.

    Kay I remember now I seen it in a garden in Wynnum. I know the guy but it is in his neighbours garden. I might have to go around and take a cutting, if they will propogate this way. Are you in Brisbane?

    I live on the Gold Coast which isn't too far from Brisbane. i hope you don't get caught by the neighbours whilst trying to get a snipping of that plant for me. I feel rarther bad. Are you in Brisbane?
