Flowering shrub

    This is a shrub about three feet high, late to leaf out and just now in flower. Can you name it?

    I think maybe it's that bush that people ask about on the internet that I can't remember the name of right now.

    A very popular plant for bonsai, so I can guess it gets asked about a lot.
