Flowering hanging plant

    Would like to know more about this plant. What is it? Where is it from? It blooms only once a year and the flowers have a unique aroma. It is located in central Florida and does not like freezing temps. As you can see, the blooms sprout from the bottom.

    Welcome to the forum Tony in Thonotosassa. I must say I've never heard of that town and I used to live in Florida.

    It's an orchid, if you didn't understand that from the scientific name. Spectacular.
