I have 2 flowering crabs about 2 years old. Just noticed some damage to both trees in about the same areas. i will try to attach a picture. Looks like something chewed on the horizontal limbs eating the bark half way around on 2 limbs. This is about 5 feet off the ground. No deer in my area in the city. Could this be mice damage. Any suggestions on how to prevent further damage? Will this kill the trees?
