I'm a secretary and one of the professors I work with gave me this flower to norture after his place caught on fire. Unfortunately, it looks as though I'm hurting it more than the fire did. Can anyone identify it and clue me in as to what I may be doing wrong? I'm awful with flowers ... and all plants in general... Thanks, Cindy
African violet (latin saintpaulia) looks like it needs a lot of help. keep it on the dry side and remove the damaged leaves
