    #1 looks like a Japanese iris.

    Probably an Algerian iris. The clematis has leaves like one of the new evergreen hybrids being sold up here, C. x cartmannii and the like (I see more than one name being used for similar plants, have not paid particular attention).

    Clematis could be C. lasiantha.
