Hello all, a friend of mine at work planted some seeds in a pot in early spring and has no idea what the flower name was so I suggested I post it to you all. Im sure it is not at all uncommon but Id like to ID it for him. The flower is about 2 inches or so across with what appears to be 8 petals. He said it has grown to about 5-6 feet tall and has foliage that is not really leaflike but more fernlike or lacy I guess youd say as in the photos. The centers are basically yellow. The picture is of the white one but he said there are also purplish ones. Im sure I have seen this but cannot remember what it is. He really doesnt know if its a perennial or annual and nor do I. I took the pictures from a piece of foliage and flower he brought to work. Any help would be appreciated. Im pretty sure it is not an uncommon flower. Thanks in advance. Dana
