Flower ID

    Does anyone know the name of this flower? It is a perennial and about 6 inches tall.

    My knee-jerk reaction is a type of flax, but the varieties I'm familiar with are all much taller.

    Sorry, they were taken in BC. No, they're not flax. It does look like it could be the veronica.

    Definitely a Veronica but the flowers alone are not enough to ID the species. Need to see the whole plant.
