Flower I.D. appreciated

    I'm pretty sure that is a daffodil.
    Latin name is 'Narcissus Actea' If thats correct I've grown it, and its beautiful. Smaller than your average display Daffodil, but worth it.

    David this is commonly called poet's daffodil.

    Britain zone 8/9
    Narcissus poeticus or a hybrid derived from it.

    I hope you've not got that in flower just now! Where I am they flower in April.
