once upon a time, there was this family from France who recently purchased a house in South Florida and thought they and their new Palm trees could live happily together ever after!!! but the palm trees are not going well!!!

We are new to SOUTH FLORIDA gardening, and our palm trees seems sick or dead... unfortunately the previous owner did not take good care of his garden. the fronds are dried and the one that was still green fell off this week, there is "fuzzy green mold" on the trunk.
There are 2 types of palm trees, the "small ones - photos Palm2" and the "big ones - photos Palm1", but we do not know their correct names.
Please help me IDENTIFY our palm trees (this will allow us to give them the appropriate care) and diagnose the disease they seem to have. CAN (and HOW) it be SAVED or is it already dead?

thank you in advance for your help.

Photos 1 -3 appear to be Syagrus romanzoffiana (Queen palm), and the two remaining are Phoenix roebelenii (Dwarf date palm).

Your in dire need of a fungal systemic. I use Ortho's Orthonex on my non-edibles to great avail... Keeps the dreaded rust off my Plumerias aswell... The Orthonex is a insecticide too which'll in turn keep the foilage nicer w/ less leaf scaring from bugs nibblin'... :)
