Florida mystery plant??

    I bought a couple of these plants at Lowes.......they were on the clearance rack for only a dollar each,so how could I resist?? Trouble is,I have no idea what they are and neither does anyone I ask..

    They stand right now about 2-3 feet high..

    Any of you smart people on here know??

    Turnera ulmifolia I believe.

    Thanks......to tell you the truth,I am not a botanist.......just did a search and found this site....

    Is there a more common name for that??

    Yellow Alder is what I found. Around here it's just called Turnera.
