I have attached ten pictures of which five plants are depicted; two pictures per plant. I would like to point out that in the next to the last picture, eastern baccharis (Baccharis halimifolia L.) and bushy bluestem (Andropogon glomeratus (Walt.) B.S.P.) can be seen in the background. All of these plants were photographed in the central Florida area.
1st, 2nd = Castor (Ricinus communis), 5th. & 6th. = Amaranth, 9th. & 10th. = Golden rods (Solidago canadiensis).
7, 8 Lobelia; maybe L. glandulosa or L. brevifolia? going by the photos at USF's ISB Atlas of Florida Plants
I agree with Ricinus communis L., Amaranthus L., and Solidago L., the exact species of the last two being uncertain to me. These three I should have known; Ricinus communis L. looked familiar, I was suspicious of Amaranthus L. being a species of Amaranthus L., and I live near a city called Goldenrod. Thanks, Nandan Kalbag. :) I agree with Mikania Willd., either Mikania cordifolia (L. f.) Willd. or Mikania scandens (L.) Willd. being the exact species. Thanks, tipularia. :) I agree with Lobelia L., the exact species being uncertain to me, but likely being one of the species you suggested; they are both quite similar. Thanks, David in L A. :)
